Berlin-based Capital Bay GmbH has acquired CURATA Pflegeeinrichtungen for the operation of a care home in Dresden. The property in Dresden's Friedrichstadt district offers 75 care places on 2,600 square metres and is fully let. Capital Bay acquired the property, which dates back to 1900, last year.
George Salden, CEO of Capital Bay: "The property in Dresden enjoys a very good reputation. As we see good growth opportunities in the care property market, we will certainly acquire further properties in this asset class and - where possible - enter into a strategic partnership with CURATA to operate the facilities."
The property in Dresden is in a very good city centre location, with the Dresden Zwinger just one kilometre away. The property was completely refurbished in 2011 specifically for use as a care facility.
