Berlin-based Capital Bay GmbH has acquired the Am Kurpark retirement home in Bad Soden-Salmünster for a sum in the low double-digit millions. The retirement home was opened in 1999 and an extension was added to the 12,500 square metre property in 2005. The home offers 206 beds on 7,500 square metres and is currently being extended by seven beds. The property is in good condition and is almost fully let.
CURATA Care Holding GmbH takes over the operation of the facility.
George Salden, CEO of Capital BAY: "The senior and care property market continues to offer very good growth opportunities, and we plan to acquire further properties in this asset class."
Bad Soden-Salmünster is located to the east of the Rhine-Main region. The spa town between Vogelsberg and Spessart has 13,000 inhabitants and is located on the Kinzigtal railway line and the A66 motorway, both of which connect Frankfurt and Fulda.
